ACENji for iOS — App Privacy
This page is the plain-English version of the "App Privacy" labels shown on the ACENji listing in the Apple App Store. It mirrors what we declare to Apple, and it is governed by our full Privacy Policy.
The short version: ACENji is a business tool for building and running apps. We collect what we need to operate the platform you signed up for — and nothing for advertising. We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not work with data brokers.
Data Used to Track You
None. ACENji contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics trackers, and we do not share your data with anyone for cross-app or cross-site advertising. In Apple's terms, no data is "used to track you."
Data Linked to You
Because ACENji is an account-based product, the data below is linked to your identity. Every item is used for App Functionality (and, where noted, security we run ourselves) — never for tracking.
| Data type | Examples | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Contact Info | Name, email address, phone number, company name | Account creation, sign-in, billing, and support |
| User Content | The responses, records, and files submitted through the apps you build | App functionality — this is your own data, processed on your behalf |
| Identifiers | User ID, company ID | App functionality and account management |
| Usage Data | Pages and features used, time and date of access | Operate, secure, and improve the platform |
| Diagnostics | Crash and performance data, IP address, device type | Keep the app reliable and secure |
| Location | Coordinates recorded as proof of presence, when an app you use includes a location element | App functionality — captured only when that element is used, never in the background |
| Photos, Video & Audio | Media captured through a camera, video, or audio element in an app you use | App functionality — recording evidence you chose to capture |
Data Not Collected
We do not collect health or fitness data, financial account or card numbers (Stripe tokenizes payments — card data never reaches our servers), browsing or search history, or advertising identifiers.
A note on the apps you build
ACENji is a no-code builder. For the data collected by the apps you create, you (your company or organization) are the data controller and ACENji is your processor. We handle that data only to provide the Services and under your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Permissions the app asks for
The iOS app requests a permission only when an app you are using includes an element that needs it, and iOS always asks you first:
- Location: to stamp where a record was captured, when an app includes a location element. We do not track your location in the background.
- Camera & Photos: to capture or attach images and video through a camera element.
- Microphone: to record audio notes through an audio element.
- Contacts: to let you pick recipients when sharing a form or sending a message. Only the contacts you select are used.
Your controls
You can export your personal data or delete your account and its data at any time from the ACENji dashboard — see our account deletion page. For the full picture of how we protect data, see Trust & Security; for the Android equivalent of this disclosure, see Google Play Data Safety.
